Hannah Mosby O’Brien practices intellectual property law with a concentration on patent and trade secret litigation, licensing, trademark issues, and internet domain disputes. She has experience advising clients in complex intellectual property litigation related to a wide variety of technologies including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, agribusiness, and mechanical engineering.

Hannah enjoys using her biochemical background to advocate for clients and find creative solutions to meet their needs. Her recent experience has included multi-jurisdictional intellectual property litigation in the telecommunications industry and litigation related to water technology before the District of Minnesota and the USPTO. Outside of client advocacy, Hannah is passionate about her work with the firm’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee and helped create its RadioFree IP Kids program.

Prior to practicing law, Hannah was an Honors Program Intern for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. During law school, she engaged in research related to genetics and genomics with a particular focus on the intersection between science, law, and bioethics. She clerked for two Minnesota law firms before entering private practice.
