[Minneapolis, MN] – [May 19, 2025] — The intellectual property law firm Carlson Caspers is pleased to welcome two of our three 2025 summer law clerks, Lillian R. Schlarman and Aarati Parajulee. Lilly recently completed her first year at the University of Minnesota Law School. She graduated from the University of Missouri in May 2023 where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with a Mathematics minor, cum laude.
Aarati has completed her second year at the University of Minnesota Law School. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin, earning a B.S. in Neuroscience and a B.A. in English in 2023.
A third summer clerk, Sophia Vaughn, will rejoin us in August. She clerked with us during the summer of 2024. Sophia attends the University of Pennsylvania Law School, Philadelphia, PA, to graduate with her J.D. in May 2026. She attended Iowa State University where she earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, summa cum laude, in May 2023.
These outstanding students were selected from a competitive pool of applicants and represent some of the top legal talent with scientific backgrounds, from leading law schools.
The firm’s summer program offers clerks the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in areas including intellectual property litigation, transactional IP, and emerging technology law. Summer clerks will work closely with attorneys, contribute to legal research and drafting, and participate in firm events designed to support professional development and mentorship.
