This year’s Gala was held Friday, November 12, 2022, at the FILLMORE MINNEAPOLIS. This year’s theme, “Dreaming with Your Eyes Wide Open,” captured the ongoing challenges and opportunities to partner with the community and legal profession to do better and be better. Attorney Bakari Sellers delivered the keynote speech and the Grammy Award winning Sounds of Blackness performed.
Each year, the MABL Foundation raises money to award scholarships to students attending local law schools who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement and are committed to addressing the Black community’s issues.
